Hello,

I've been given some soil moisture data from another researcher in Sentek .sdb and .sws format. This will be my first time working with Sentek data so I do not yet have the Irrimax software which I assume is necessary to view this data. I'm happy to get this software in order to access this data, but I had a simple question: will the software allow me to export the resulting moisture curves into CSV (or another simple) format? My specific application requires that I be able to access and manipulate the moisture data programmatically, and so if CSV export isn't possible I'll have to abandon the plan I'm considering at the moment. Apologies for the basic question, but I didn't see whether CSV export is available with the software anywhere.

Thanks.

You can convert the sdb file into a csv by using Sentek's Data Exchange program, use the "Help" button in the program to see how to do it. To get the Data Exchange program, download Irrimax 10.1.1 from the Sentek web site http://www.sentek.com.au/downloads/down ... FolderID=3, Irrimax will stop functioning after a month but the utilities will not.

Excellent, thanks for the information, cloud. I'll look into doing just that.
